Precaution

1. When using solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors at temperatures greater than ~85&C, use the derated voltage, if any, specified in the product literature.

Explanatory Notes

1. Example of derating voltage.

Using a voltage greater than the derated voltage will damage the dielectric of a capacitor.
